Walking Gator

John and I were idling down the road, looking at the scenery and river in the Everglades today. All of a sudden, sauntering out of a homestead's driveway on the left, comes this 8 to 9 foot pre-historic beast (aka alligator) right in front of us! We just could not believe how high he or she got off the ground! (double click over the picture to see it in full size)
