Sanibel and Captiva Islands, Florida

Some friends of ours invited us to their vacation house on Captiva Island yesterday. John and I decided to visit The Ding Darling National Wildlife Sanctuary on Sanibel Island before heading to Captiva Island. We love to see the wildlife in this pretty area of the island. Afterwards, we went to the northern tip of Captiva Island to a lovely home that our friends and their family are vacationing this week. We spent Sunday afternoon to this morning on the island and had a great time. I want to share our time in pictures. Last night's sunset on the Gulf of Mexico was beautiful to say the least. Enjoy!

Great pictures Audrey! So many different and unusual plants. Crazy seeing a racoon in the daytime, that would have frightened me. Looks like you had a great time.
